Who We Serve

Dean Bank is pleased to serve individuals, families, and businesses in the Norfolk County and Blackstone Valley region of Massachusetts and in Northern Rhode Island.

Giving Back

We are proud to sponsor many local non-profit and charitable organizations through donating money and employee time. Our policy is to sponsor organizations that are based in our local community and benefit as many people in our community as possible.

School Savings Program

Our commitment to the community continues with the education of our children. As a partner of School Savings in our community elementary schools, Dean Bank has helped local students learn the importance of saving. Dean Bank Scholarships

Dean Bank offers annual scholarships to eligible high school seniors graduating from the following area high schools:

  • Bellingham High School
  • Blackstone Millville Regional High School
  • Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School
  • Franklin High School
  • King Philip High School
  • Nipmuc High School
  • Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School

Dean Bank offers each school $1,000 in scholarship funds and the school guidance departments determine eligibility requirements, administer applications, and select and notify the winner(s). Some schools offer one $1,000 scholarship while other schools choose to split the funds and award multiple scholarships. High school seniors who are interested in applying for the Dean Bank scholarship should contact their school guidance department for details.

Co-Operative Education Program

Each year, Dean Bank employs senior technology majors from Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School to work in the bank’s Information Technology Department. The paid interns report to Dean Bank’s Network Manager and work closely with the information technology staff. The win-win relationship offers the students the opportunity to increase their skills and gain experience that will help them advance their career in the future. The bank benefits by receiving a worker who already has many of the technical skills needed to support the bank. Often times, these outstanding students, most of who are at the top of their classes academically, bring and share expertise that the bank does not already possess in-house.

Interns are classified as special part-time employees of the Bank and most have worked with Dean Bank full time during the summer following high school graduation. Each September, the interns head off to challenging higher education opportunities at schools such as Wentworth Institute, Northeastern University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Framingham State University.
